ARMINA DINESCU is a visual anthropologist, born in Romania, and educated in Scotland and Denmark. Based in Copenhagen, DK, and collaborating primarily on documentary video-making, especially in interactive/participatory formats.

This website is an assortment of   m a g p i e  treasures   (collections of stimulating audio-visual-textual material found around the interwebs, kept as potent memories or inspiration for myself/you) &   f i e l d ships   (collections of visual-textual material found within myself and within various ethnographic projects I have conducted, not quite fitting into academic work). In other words, some of these posts celebrate other people’s work (in which case they will always be credited), whereas others are mere outlets for my own.
